Nonprofit arts organization free103point9 preps an audio feast with its radio-themed smorgasbord of avant-garde rock music, theatre, poetry, and artist presentations. Highlights include appearances from notable radio names such as Kareem Estefan (host of Ceptuetics on WNYU) and writer Joe Milutis, who lectures on wireless transmissions — even going so far as to debate the presence of radios in Milton's Paradise Lost. Saturday evening brings a wide-ranging collection of musicians (Neg-Fi, Noveller, and Tom Roe, among others) who offer experimental musings using detuned guitars, tape players, and walkie-talkies.
