Clay McLeod Chapman is a storyteller to keep an eye on — he has published several collections of character-driven short fiction, worked on a film adaptation of one of his tales that attracted Hollywood attention at Sundance, and is developing a serial storytelling program for television. But his main outlet for the past ten years has been The Pumpkin Pie Show, a traveling circus of narrative feats that often breaks the fourth wall. A quartet of stories is chosen randomly each night, ensuring that each intense, genre-blurring show is completely original.
