Cooper-Hewitt says…

The Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum opens its doors to the public for an entire week of free admission and programs. Peruse two to-scale-sized rooms plucked from Tulou, a new housing project currently under construction in Guangzhou, China, or simply pass the afternoon in the museum's expansive garden. Various events include a fair of teenage designers with Project Runway phenom Tim Gunn, a panel with the recipients of this year's National Design Awards, and discussions with PBS's Design Squad on how educators can help encourage the designers of tomorrow.
