A singer whose sense of pop composition mirrors equally skewed Swedish superstars like Jens Lekman and Robyn, Lykke Li is at once an avant-indie pretty and an unabashed radio warrior. Li's delicate tweeisms lilt across electro-pop as the singer's tentative, aching voice works through universal sorrow, daily doldrums, and an affecting set of everygirl aspirations. While "Little Bit" and "Everybody But Me" follow Robyn's lead into unmitigated pop territory, the deliciously arty "Dance Dance Dance" (like similarly haunting ballad "Time Flies") proves Li equally adept at off-kilter indie orchestration. In tonight's hotly anticipated showcase, she joins equally buzzworthy indie up-and-comer Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson.
