Hailed by New York magazine and New York Press as one of the best local events of its kind, Amanda Stern's Happy Ending Music and Reading Series has hosted esteemed authors such as Amy Hempel and A.M. Homes. Tonight, the main attraction is fiction writer Deb Olin Unferth, whose collection of short stories, Minor Robberies, was published by McSweeney's last year. Cristy Road, along with Tin House fave Keith Lee Morris also read from their work, and singer/songwriter Bronwen Exter finishes the night off with her wistful, dulcet music. Don't miss one of the final readings to be held at Happy Ending before the series moves to Joe's Pub at the start of the new year.
