Unlike the band's namesake — elusive playwright Margot Tenenbaum in Wes Anderson's delightful The Royal Tenenbaums — bittersweet indie collective Margot & the Nuclear So and So's keep little to themselves. Featuring up to eight members onstage, the group lovingly creates a medley of gentle and reflective indie jams, making heavy use of strings and even heavier use of heart-on-sleeve emotion. Tonight, singer Richard Edwards leads the melancholy songsters through a collection of delicate melodies after a stunning ensemble performance by Japanese indie wunderkind Shugo Tokumaru.
