Music: Hip-Hop Hip-Hop Live feat. Talib Kweli w/ David Banner and Little Brother

Talib Kweli, Brooklyn's favorite cardigan-wearin' truth talker, may not be the newest MC in the game. But his recently brilliant "Hostile Gospel" remix brings young stars Blu and Joell Ortiz into the fold — while reaffirming Talib's status as one of hip-hop's legendary older brothers. Tonight, the passionate rapper brings a few Southern friends to Midtown for a classy backpacker and R&B beatdown. The lineup includes Mississippi hit-producer David Banner, who croons from his '08 album The Greatest Story Ever Told. Also on hand: Little Brother — aka the North Carolina duo, Phonte and Big Pooh — who offer their own brand of indie-rap humor in cuts from And Justus For All, their latest release.
