Bringing together 65 artists from all five boroughs, the DanceNOW festival throbs with the pulse of NYC during its weeklong run. Emerging soloists share the stage with well-known artists such as Camille A. Brown and David Parker and the Bang Group in a genre-straddling showcase of new works and revivals. The festival honors ten-year veterans Battleworks Dance Company, Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance, John Heginbotham, and Monica Bill Barnes, who celebrate stellar runs with newly commisioned pieces.
