Quiet Village, a collaboration between Radio Slave's Matt Edwards and master selector Joel Martin, return to Deep Space for a night of blissed-out Balearic goodness. The duo's last LP, Silent Movie, is all soppy string lines and murmured vocals laid over liquid grooves and psychedelic riffs. It's a dubby, reverb-and-echo reimagining of bargain-bin detritus from forgotten record-store basements. Tonight, Quiet Village pump their impeccably smooth, danceable blend of cheese and class through Cielo's pristine sound system.
