The New Yorker Festival is back with a jam-packed weekend of readings, discussions, film screenings, and private walking tours — in other words, it's the NYC literati's collective wet dream. While it's impossible to see everything, it's also hard to go wrong choosing an event. Some of the many highlights include a town-hall meeting on race and class in America; a panel on political humor with correspondents from The Daily Show; interviews with Elizabeth Edwards and Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine); fiction panels featuring Junot Díaz and TC Boyle; and Calvin Trillin's tour of Chinatown.
