Though it probably wouldn't hurt, you don't need to be much of a baseball fan or know much about the sport's steroid scandals to enjoy Back Back Back. Written by the young and restless Itamar Moses, the play follows three baseball players over 20-plus years in the sport. With understated lighting, and a set comprised of little more than a workout room, the play avoids any bells and whistles and is also short on melodrama, which is just as it should be. Who needs soap-opera romances when you've got pro sports and illegal drugs?
