The recent release of Modern Guilt, Beck's latest dark-and-dank collab with Danger Mouse, would be reason enough to make a beeline for the United Palace Theater. Sleaze-poppers and hometown heroes MGMT open for the California kid on Thursday and Friday. As for the headliner: though we're pumped for Guilt gems like "Gamma Ray" and the title track, here's hoping he busts out some golden oldies as well. However he brings it (robot-rock to morose melodies), Mr. Hansen will surely bring the dancey, rocky, freak-funk noise.
