Academy Award-nominated animator Don Hertzfeldt stops by the IFC Center tonight to show a selection of his shorts and premiere his new film, I am so proud of you. It's the second in a trilogy that began with a simple stick figure, Bill, contemplating the meaning of life while dying from a mental disorder in Everything will be ok. The newest installment runs 22 minutes long, his longest short film to date. The Animation Show co-founder's tour is the fourth theatrical program bringing animated shorts onto screens across the nation. Hertzfeldt follows the screening with an on-stage interview and audience Q&A session.
