Bora Yoon Record Release Party

Join multi-instrumentalist/composer Bora Yoon and Icelandic sound artist Ben Frost to celebrate the release of Yoon's latest full-length, ( (( Phonation )) ). Yoon's bracing experimentalism is coupled with an attention to detail that makes her inventive compositions into headphone workouts — bells shimmer, voices bob and weave, and found sounds haunt the mix like aural ghosts. Tonight, Yoon and a crew of special guests evoke site-specific spirits in the Church of the Ascension's candlelit recesses.
