In a city that owes everything to a talking mouse, Yip Yip just might be the weirdest thing to come out of the fantasyland that is Orlando, Florida. A punk band disguised as a pair of mummifed aliens on roller skates and armed with an arsenal of synths, electronics, and an alto sax, Yip Yip blaze through 8-bit jams that call to mind the stranger moments of Kid606 or Dan Deacon. Tonight, they're joined by Brooklyn misfits Mixel Pixel and Ninjasonik.
