To form the Brooklyn psych outfit Woods, Jeremy Earl and his bandmates retreated to a log cabin, to forget their material confines of Brooklyn and locate the wild beast within. Which, incidentally, is a potential escape route if your man of choice comes up weak during today's natural selection. But if ticks and venison aren't your thing, the low-fi duo brings the great, weird outdoors to Death by Audio tonight. Woods are joined by wailing weird folkers MV & EE, a twangy twosome from Vermont. Returns are screened with two giant projectors, and free Cali champers or Kentucky bourbon will be available, "dependent on how shit goes."
