Any day now, the Knitting Factory will abandon its Manhattan homestead and head to Brooklyn. The future promises a snug new storefront with tickets priced for the falafel set, all within spitting distance of the L train. (Please refrain from actually spitting on the L train.) But for the time being, the Knit brings Brooklyn to old Tribeca, booking all of its three stages with Oneida, Parts & Labor, Oakley Hall, Knyfe Hyts, and Pterodactyl. For those afraid of exceeding their daily allowance of Kings County indie rock, out-of-town guests include noisy upbeaters and low-keyers from across the land.
