Showing a human, fragile and, to some extent, remorseful side of the former president for the first time, David Frost's 1977 interview with Richard Nixon is a landmark in television history. The interview's influence has transcended the tube, though, extending into theatre with Peter Morgan's 2006 play, Frost/Nixon, and film, with Ron Howard's new movie adaptation. Howard's Frost/Nixon — which features Frank Langella and Michael Sheen reprising their award-winning theatrical performances, alongside Kevin Bacon and Sam Rockwell — explores both the text and subtext of this momentous and often overlooked historical moment. This sneak preview of the film is followed by a discussion with Howard, producer Brian Grazer, and members of the cast.
