While most people give Flash all the credit for songs like "White Lines (Don't Do It)" and "Beat Street," Grandmaster Mele Mel was actually the rhyming genius behind these hip-hop classics. Originally a member of the Furious Five, Mele Mel has since stepped out on his own, most recently with Muscles, his debut LP from 2007. Tonight Mele Mel helps ring in an old-school New Year, alongside new-schooler Mickey Factz and the tight pants-wearing boys of Ninjasonik.
