From the Desk of Sarah Seely presents a Cold War-era dance/theatre/burlesque/music/video extravaganza at Williamsburg's Triskelion Arts studio. Armed with an MFA in dance from Smith, Seely left her Baltimore-based company to try her chances in New York. When she found herself spending 40 hours a week as an executive assistant, she put her unused hours to work and bonded with fellow artists/office workers to form a dance ensemble with a penchant for social satire. Together they create vintage-themed dance dramas about the consumerist American way. Prepare to be swept, if not photocopied, off your feet by "the people who know how you take your coffee."
