Openers change each night. Catch Steve Smith of Dirty Vegas on Monday, snarky synth-punks Sigmund Droid on Tuesday, and the dream pop of locals My Teenage Stride on Wednesday.
It's hard to imagine De Novo Dahl playing their everything-but-country brand of pop rock on the famous strip of their hometown, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. These guys are much more distinctly Nash Vegas, sporting a whole lot of pastel polyester and cowboy boots while channeling the spirits of everyone from Beulah to Hall & Oates on stage. The band's name, which refers to the famous author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, perfectly expresses their appeal to heady music geeks and sophomoric party animals alike. Tonight, prepare for some serious three-part harmony and groovy, lick-laden ownage.
