Trapeze-theatre piece Looking Up seamlessly combines two unlikely mediums into a surprisingly nice little love story. Solo trapeze artist Wendy and fast-talking bartender Jack "meet cute" while on the job in NYC. They're attracted by each others' stark differences; it's their similarities that cause complications. Despite their individual baggage, they're refreshingly normal people (even considering Wendy's circus past), learning about themselves while learning about each other, and so forth. It's a sweet romance made all the more entertaining (not to mention strange) by the fact that Wendy performs death-defying trapeze feats throughout the production.
