Googling Bradford Cox yields a few key points: he's tall, he's confrontational, and he sings in Georgian dream-punk band Deerhunter. The first two facts often overshadow the third, but Cox deserves fresh consideration. He's already garnered praise for his solo turn as Atlas Sound, and his newly Kranky-minted album, Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See but Cannot Feel, vaunts his one-man-show efforts with home-studio effects and hushed bedroom vocals. Live, expect the vitriolic singer's gentler side, heavily reverbed and propped up by a mindful rhythm section.
