Chinua Achebe, a father of modern African literature and winner of the Man Booker International Prize in 2007, gets some adoration from his peers. Fellow literary heavyweights, including Michael Cunningham, Chris Abani, Edwidge Danticat, and Toni Morrison, pay tribute to Achebe and his landmark debut, Things Fall Apart, on the 50th anniversary of its publication. The Francesca Harper Dance Project and Alvin Ailey School also perform.
