The SCOPE fair brings together the beauty, violence, and humor of emerging artists in the global community. Exhibitors from Brooklyn to Oslo contribute installations, including felt-fabric pigeons exploding in mid-flight, serene banyan trees composed of discarded textiles, and ethereal canopies of burnt wood and charcoal floating on filament. Brooklyn's Monkey Town curates single-seat film-viewing pods, and Perpetual Art Machine revisits SCOPE's original 2006 inception with thousands of video-art pieces. The A.T.T. Vegetable Oil Taxi might even bring you home after the fair.
