International writing gets its due at Words Without Borders' ongoing reading series Tales from the Global Village. Tonight's event features French comic-book collaborators Philippe Dupuy and Charles Berberian — who won the prestigious Angoulême Alph-Art Award for their anthology Get a Life — examining the "global graphic novel." French native Dupuy and Iraq-born Berberian have lived and worked together in Paris for 25 years, producing their popular Monsieur Jean series, as well as work for Drawn & Quarterly and the New Yorker. Illustrator, SVA professor, and translator Matt Madden moderates the discussion.
