Film: Shorts Fools!

After a day of hoaxes, scandals, and embarrassment, spend the first of April with a few on-screen fools at Sunset Park's newest venue, Light Industry. This deftly curated collection of short films features a wide range of comedy — both intentional and otherwise. High points include Jonas Mekas' sliced-up, old-fashioned cartoons, 16mm silent porn from the '20s, and Chris Cunningham's twisted video for Aphex Twin's Windowlicker, in which bikini-clad babes wear Richard D. James' leering face. If you're gullible enough to think that you'll get through the night with a straight face, prepare to get played.
