Australia's TinAlley String Quartet kick off the spring music season at the Americas Society with an intriguing program that features a quartet by a teenaged Mendelssohn; two modern (read: atonal) quartets by Alban Berg; and Dark Energy, a recent work by Ottawa-based composer Kelly-Marie Murphy that purports to echo the construction of the cosmos.
