Photographer Anne Hardy could just as easily have succeeded as an installation artist or set dresser. Her elaborately staged photographs — five of which are displayed in this solo exhibition — pulse with human activities abandoned mid-stream, but never include the person or people who once inhabited the space. Constructed in her London studio, her various environments alternately resemble a retro surveillance station, an underground workout gym, and a deteriorating nightclub.
