Kalabrese's fantastic album Rumpelzirkus showcased his band, Rumpelorchester, laying down left-field grooves under squiggly guitar lines, muted horns, and rambling vocals — tonight, the Swiss club owner proves he's no slouch behind the decks, either, with a DJ set at the Bunker. Building upon a solid minimal-techno foundation, Winkler effortlessly shifts from jazz-infused deep house to cosmic disco, making pit stops at all points between. Philly natives and Foundsound labelmates Someone Else and Miskate get the night started before all three head out west to the Communikey Festival.
