Whether she's singing scat to standards or playing trombone on her original tunes, Brooklyn-based musician elizabeth! makes an impression. Before relocating to New York, she played lead trombone in the Harvard Jazz Band while studying cognitive neuroscience and psychology. She has since performed in tributes to Bob Dylan, played in St. Vincent, toured with Arcade Fire, and appeared on the Late Night with Conan O'Brien with south London singer/songwriter Patrick Wolf. Tonight, elizabeth! begins a five-day, late-night residency at Dizzy's Club and once again proves herself worthy of the exclamation mark.
