Seán Curran's work, which draws on his experience as a former Bill T. Jones dancer and theater choreographer, appeals to dance connoisseurs and theater buffs alike. His company's visit to Dance Theater Workshop brings the New York premiere of Force of Circumstance, with original music composed and performed by Christopher Antonio William Lancaster, and a performance of the Guggenheim Works & Process commission, Fire Weather. The program's centerpiece is Aria Apology, set to Handel arias sung by Renee Fleming and interrupted by recorded confessions to unspeakable crimes.
