Film Tribeca Film Festival

The Tribeca Film Festival always heaps on the glitz and glamor with its high-profile mainstream films (Tina Fey's Baby Mama kicks things off). But the selections also include highly anticipated non-Hollywood works by Julian Schnabel (Lou Reed's Berlin, filmed at St. Ann's Warehouse), Errol Morris (Standard Operating Procedure, about the other side of the infamous Abu Ghraib photographs), and Harmony Korine (Mister Lonely, with a killer cast: Samantha Morton, Diego Luna, Werner Herzog). Perhaps the most surprising program is Thriller Night, a "drive-in" selection that includes Jacko's epic 1984 music video, the classic Making of Thriller, a Michael Jackson lookalike contest, face-painting stations, and what is billed as "the world's largest zombie disco."
