Noise-rockers and techno-twiddlers rejoice — the Bent Festival is entering its fifth year of circuit-bending mayhem. Sound-based sculptural installations fill the halls with modified children's playthings, while free daily workshops teach the art of re-wiring toys and electronics to emit bizarre sound waves and beautiful distortions. Once you've seen how the pieces are made, watch the DIY pros put them to use in nightly concerts — highlight performers include the Furby Youth Choir (yes, those Furbys) and warped-and-wired rock bands like Aa (Big A little a) and Burnkit 2600.
