Dave Hill knows suits (pinstriped ones, specifically) and music — he's the frontman for local rock band Valley Lodge, plays guitar for Children of the Unicorn, and sometimes plays bass for Lucy Wainwright Roche (Rufus Wainwright's half-sister). Hill also knows funny — he hosts the Dave Hill Explosion at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and contributes to the ever-hilarious site Super Deluxe. Tonight, he hosts a showcase of local talent, including Assy McGee voice-man Larry Murphy, Monk and The Man Show writer Dan Dratch, Colbert Report writer Laura Krafft, Totally JK host Joe Mande, and Brett Gelman, who's one half of comedic rap group Cracked Out.
