Playwright Jenny Schwartz made a downtown splash last year with her breakout play God's Ear, and now the Vineyard Theatre revives the production with a nearly identical cast and creative team. Centering around a family that has recently lost a child, God's Ear gives insight into human behavior during personal tragedies. Schwartz's writing is hyper-realistic, with an emphasis on staccato speech styles and disconnected dialogue, and the spare staging never gets in the way of her charming new voice.
