Music: Rock/Pop Spoon w/ Handsome Furs

Spoon don't need us to tell you to go see them. Like nearly every record they've released, 2007's aptly titled Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga reduced the blogosphere and mainstream listeners alike to awed gushing. They'd be the definition of "critics' darlings" if that term didn't imply that the record-buying public didn't give a damn. In fact, after six albums of taut, kinetic pop (each an improvement on the last), they've cultivated fans every bit as obsessive as those of other indie-rock royalty like Wilco or the Arcade Fire. So... guess you don't need us to tell you to go see Spoon, either.
