More Flavor: Food/Wine Brain Food feat. Charlie Ayers

Charlie Ayers has come a long way since his days cooking in the kitchens of Hilton hotels in New Jersey. After graduating from culinary school in Rhode Island, the 42-year-old chef cooked for the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Clinton, the Sultan of Brunei, and the Grateful Dead. His most well-known gig, however, was as the executive chef for Google at the company's Mountain View, California, headquarters, where he developed a philosophy of "fine food for the fast crowd." Tonight, Ayers demonstrates a few recipes for "brain food," cuisine aimed at maximizing brain function, using only raw and fermented ingredients.
