Dorothy Parker's collaboration with Arnaud d'Usseau, The Ladies of the Corridor, was her last major project and also her most overlooked. Although the play had a brief run in 1953, it's since gone out of print and been largely forgotten. To celebrate Penguin Classics' forthcoming reprint, the Dorothy Parker Society is throwing a splashy party to fête Ladies' overdue re-release. Actors are on hand to read sections to merry revelers, and the event is held next door to the theatre where the play was originally performed.
