Funny, serious, and daring, TELL is a collaborative theatre work that explores the phenomenon of confession by artfully weaving together a series of vignettes. An evangelical wife and husband wrestle with the high stakes of full disclosure; an Iraqi detainee and his interrogator (along with the interrogator's estranged wife) do the same. Webcams, phone devices, and online social networks figure prominently, poking fun at our tech-heavy, highly mediated lifestyle. As the lines blur between privacy as a right and privacy as a personal choice, TELL nudges us to ask ourselves what's worth sharing and what's better left unsaid.
