François K's weekly party at Cielo always goes deep, but when Mala, the heaviest of the London steppas, and soulful Midwestern house pioneer Theo Parrish join the fray, things get positively sub-seismic. Detroit's Parrish has been playing records since 1986, and his sets of deep house, vintage soul, and classic disco are guaranteed to keep partygoers on their toes, guessing what might come next. Mala, one half of Digital Mystikz, opens with a selection of dark 'n dirty dubplate business.
