Situated squarely between ambient, techno, jazz, post-rock, indie, and the avant-garde, Radian offshoot Németh is a pretty tough pony to pin down. Suffice it to say that his Thrill Jockey debut, Film, incorporates all of the above, stacking bizarre rhythms, crackling electronics, organic drums, guitars, and bizarre statics into a series of warm, welcoming instrumentals. He layers ambient oddities tonight alongside electricity-tinged, black metal-obsessed droners KTL, a duo boasting Sunn O))) member Stephen O'Malley.
