Inspired by physicist Brian Greene's book The Elegant Universe, choreographer Karole Armitage presents two evenings of dance as part of the Works & Process series at the Guggenheim Museum. Combining movement with text and projected images, Armitage's dancers deftly unravel some of the mysteries behind string theory. As part of the World Science Festival, each evening's performance concludes with a discussion, for which Armitage and composer Lukas Ligeti are joined by string theorist Jim Gates (Friday) and Greene (Saturday) to talk about how science can be expressed through art.
