Union Hall's popular Secret Science Club jumps onto the hot topic (ha cha!) of global warming. Dr. Wallace Broecker, the Newberry Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia, speaks about the link between ocean chemistry and climate change, and how we can adjust our own carbon-dioxide output to help the atmosphere. Sip the evening's eco-cocktail (the Heat Miser, perfect for tree-huggers and Elliott Smith fans alike) and snag the doctor's latest tome, Fixing Climate.
