The county of Kings stakes a spot in the house of style when BKLYN Designs launches this year's New York Design Week. The borough's finest designers, manufacturers, and industry innovators take over four venues for three days of exhibits and information. Offerings include geometrically patterned rugs, mic-shaped lights, sexy wall decals, and reclaimed wood installations, along with a few trinkets for head-to-toe self-decoration. Discussions led by folks from Interior Design and I.D. magazines focus on urban needs, green inclinations, and the potential of edible lawns.
