Reading n+1 presents The Internet: We All Live There Now

Despite being a relatively new journal, n+1 has the self-assured swagger and genre-spanning perspective of a much more established publication. Founded in 2004, the magazine is known for its unabashedly intellectual commentaries on literature, politics, and pop culture — and has attracted almost as much criticism as it has acclaim for its earnest meditations. Tonight, the biannual publication hosts an Internet-focused event that brings together writers and critical thinkers like Jezebel editor Moe Tkacik and n+1 founding editors Benjamin Kunkel and Mark Greif. Panelists discuss a range of web-related subjects like YouTube and pornography, and debate the implications of anonymity for bloggers and those who comment on the blogs they write.
