Performing Arts: Comedy The Rejection Show

Even if you don't want to admit it, it's always fun to laugh at losers. (Just look at the current Apatowian cinema movement for proof.) Jon Friedman's long-running Rejection Show culls the best of the worst, this time highlighting rejected material from the sophomoric kids over at College Humor, the dorkily hilarious Pete Holmes, Assy McGee's Larry Murphy, his sketch cohort Greg Johnson, and Jenny Slate of local comedy duo Gabe & Jenny. Loser house band the Defibulators play what they deem "whackabilly," which sounds like "Hee-Haw on mescaline." We can't really top that.
