Having faithfully served scathing psychedelia for over a decade, Oneida now embark on their most ambitious project ever: a multimedia reinterpretation of their dense 2005 album The Wedding. In this special engagement at venerable avant-garde outpost the Kitchen, the Brooklyn mainstays incorporate string arrangements and piano into their trademark organ, guitar, and drums lineup. Longtime collaborators Mighty Robot AV Squad helm the stage show, complementing the songs with atmospheric visuals; in a departure from the band's raw, often abrasive aesthetic, expect bright colors and delicate melodic flourishes amid walls of droning feedback and a Can-like pulse.
