Eyebeam's third Mixer is the funkiest yet, with some of Brooklyn's finest pushing audio and visual experimentation into another dimension. Synth-pop trio Kudu shatter all electro preconceptions with heavy dance beats and dynamic vocals, while avant-jazz cats BiLLLL$ dispatch warped soul, twisted percussion, old-school rapping, and psychedelic sights. A/V experts the Collection Agency put on a set rife with dub beats and wildlife video clips, a performance that segues perfectly into the interactive installations of Eyebeam's resident artists. Party on, but beware of BoozBot — Eyebeam's bartending robot — who may engage you in a lengthy conversation and keep you off the dance floor.
