Quiet Village, a collaboration between Radio Slave's Matt Edwards and master selector Joel Martin, return to Deep Space for a night of blissed-out, Balearic goodness. The duo's recent LP, Silent Movie, is all soppy string lines and murmured vocals over liquid grooves and psychedelic riffs. It's a dubby, reverb-and-echo reimagining of the bargain-bin detritus from forgotten record-store basements. Tonight, Quiet Village present a special audio/visual set, pumping their impeccably smooth, danceable blend of cheese and class through Cielo's pristine sound system.
